Crompton and Royton Golf Club “Buddy Scheme”

To assist new members to become acquainted and integrated with existing members, a “Buddy” scheme is being launched whereby an existing member will take a new member “under his or her wing”.

The existing member will arrange a day and time to play with the new member, and by doing so will be able to introduce the new member to the ways of Crompton and Royton Golf Club, as well as introducing him/her to his/her circle of golf colleagues.

If you would like to “Buddy” a new member, please call the office on 0161-624-2154- Ext 1 and register your details.

We all want a tidy golf course and there are things that we can do to achieve this. Currently there is no grass growth on the course therefore any DIVOTS or PITCH MARKS if left unrepaired will render the course unsightly. Consequently members will complain about the appearance of the course.

PLEASE BEAR IN MIND:

DIVOTS SHOULD BE REPLACED USING A McDIVOT AVAILABLE FROM THE BOX OUTSIDE THE PROFESSIONAL’S SHOP.
PITCH MARKS SHOULD BE REPAIRED WHETHER YOUR OWN OR OTHERS.

THE GREENS COMMITTEE THANK YOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION ON THESE ISSUES.

THERE WILL BE A REPAIR SESSION OF DIVOTS ON THE COURSE THROUGHOUT THE SEASON (Dates will be announced) - VOLUNTEERS ARE WELCOME.
