MENS MAJOR COMPETITION DRAWS

Members who wish to play in any of the clubs Major Competitions are asked to ensure that their name is placed on the reserve list outside of the Professional’s Shop before 8pm on the Thursday evening prior to the competition. This is to enable the Handicap and Competitions Committee to perform the draw for tee times for the members on the reserve list.

Any member wishing to play in the Major after the above time will unfortunately be unable to enter the competition.

Crompton and Royton extends a warm welcome to all members, visitors and societies. Widely acknowledged as one of Greater Manchester’s premier golf clubs, Crompton and Royton is situated between Oldham and Rochdale at the edge of the Pennine Hills, providing sprawling views across the countryside and the cityscape.

Crompton and Royton is renowned for it’s challenging layout. The lush undulating fairways and manicured greens are a true test for golfers of all ages and abilities. Set at the foot of the Pennine Hills, in between what were the lofty chimneys of the nearby cotton mills, this heath/parkland course has matured into a fine but fair challenge of golf.

Our Secretary would be happy to provide you with a schedule of available dates for Visiting Parties or a programme of Open Events or you can view the details here. Visiting Parties of 16 to 110 can be catered for and our Open Competitions feature such events as Gala Week, Mixed Open, Mens Singles Open, Team Stableford Open, Mens Fourball Open, Ladies Open, Seniors Open and Any Combination Open. Come and have a great day out on one of the best golf courses in the district.
