Martin Beaty

A past junior member of Crompton and Royton Golf Club until emigrating to Australia where he represented Western Australian State at amateur level. Turned professional in 2001 as a member of the Australian PGA then went on to compete on the Australian, Asian and Europro tours before joining the British PGA and taking up his post as Head Professional at Crompton and Royton Golf Club.

Karen Heywood

Our Assistant Professional Karen was a member of Crompton and Royton Golf Club from 1991 aged 15 until she turned Professional in July 2009 and whilst playing as an amateur she was the English Ladies Intermediate Champion 2000, Royal Birkdale 36 hole Scratch Champion 2001 & 2002. Karen also has numerous Representative Honours including Lancashire Schools, North of England Schools, England Schools, Lancashire County Girls,Lancashire County Team and was a Member of the County Team that won the Northern Championships in 2002 and the National Championship 2002.
