A huge thank you to all the members who gave up their time to help with divoting across the course today.

The time, effort and commitment shown by everyone involved is greatly appreciated and plays an important part in helping us keep the course in the best condition possible.

‍

We would also like to thank those members who responded to let us know they would have attended had other commitments not coincided with today’s session. Your willingness to get involved is equally appreciated, and we hope to see you at one of our future volunteer days.

‍

For anyone who has not yet had the opportunity to take part, we would strongly encourage you to give it a go. Even a couple of hours can make a significant difference, while the sessions are also a great opportunity to contribute to the club and spend time with fellow members.

Further improvements across the course

‍

While members were busy divoting, our greens team were also making the most of a specialist machine hired for the day.

‍

All of the greens have now been overseeded, helping to encourage healthy new growth and improve the quality and resilience of the playing surfaces in the months ahead.

‍

With some time remaining at the end of the day, work was also carried out on a number of tees, with additional overseeding undertaken to improve grass coverage in these areas.

‍

Overall, it has been an extremely productive day on the course.

‍

Every job completed forms part of the ongoing effort to make the course as good as it can be, working within the resources available and the conditions we face throughout the season.

‍

The continued support of our members, volunteers and greens team is invaluable, and by working together we are continuing to make positive improvements across the course.
