On a balmy Saturday evening the junior team took on Ashton-under-Lyne Golf Club in the Williams BMW Junior Team Knockout and came out triumphant.
The junior squad was made up of Emily Halstead, Tom Pickering, Jack Pickering, Daniel Melling and Niall Weldon.
They took the honours winning 3 and 2 and now progress to the next round. The draw is to be made in the coming weeks.
The Junior team have a good history in the competition and came runners up last year but looking to go one better this year.

The course is situated at the edge of the Pennines between the towns of Rochdale and Oldham, providing sprawling views of the countryside and city landscape.
