Crompton and Royton Golf Club junior member Grace is preparing to compete on the international stage after qualifying for the prestigious FCG Callaway World Championship in Palm Springs, California.

The invitation-only tournament brings together talented under-18 golfers from more than 40 countries, making it a fantastic opportunity for Grace to test her game against some of the world’s best young players.

‍

Grace secured her place in the championship with an outstanding performance on the Robert Rock Tour in April. Competing at The London International Golf Club, she won the Callaway Major Girls Under-16 category by an impressive five shots, recording a superb nett score of 65.

‍

Her success has earned her the chance to travel to California and represent both the club and the local area on a global stage.

Grace’s trip has also been supported by the generous sponsorship of Elcons, whose contribution has helped make her California dream a reality.
