The cold but sunny weather gave perfect conditions for all the ladies who attended the first Crompton and Royton Golf Club ladies “Get Into Golf” sessions of the season. Hosted by our club professional, Ryan Gumbridge, Ryan covered all aspects of golf from driving to putting and everything in between to get started on the course.

There was an evening session at our indoor practice facility. Ryan set up a few different drills, and with the big screen, the ladies were able to “see your shot”.

The Saturday session went on to the practice areas around the course to run through putting and chipping basics, provide free coaching sessions and set up a few fun challenges.

‍

After the session’s Ryan invited everyone back to the “19th” spike bar and treated them to a glass of Prosecco and experience what was a lively clubhouse atmosphere on the day, due to a Grand National Ladies Day event being held.

A big thanks to all of those that made it down to the club and took part in the sessions. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves.
