Crompton & Royton Golf Club would like to extend its sincere thanks to the many members who volunteered their time on Monday 27th April to support the Greens Team.

A fantastic turnout saw volunteers work across the course, repairing divots using a soil and seed mix. Thanks to the collective effort, the entire course was completed in just one day, a tremendous achievement that will make a real difference to playing conditions in the weeks ahead.

This support comes at an important time of year, as the course continues to grow rapidly and the Greens Team work tirelessly to maintain the high standards our members expect. The additional help has allowed the team to focus their efforts on other key areas during this busy period.

Following the hard work, all volunteers were treated to a well-earned breakfast butty and a brew, a small token of appreciation for a big contribution.

The club looks forward to continuing initiatives like this and will once again call upon the support of its fantastic membership to help enhance the course wherever possible.
